Welcome to my portfolio :)
I've been making games since I was about 13 (2003), way back on GameMaker4, though these days I use Unity. My main focus is programming in C#
Tooling show-off
StrongNumbaz2 Font Waz!
Professional stuff
Here's a look at some tools I created for our designers to help them build levels using the procedural level generator in our project Merangutan. It covers use of the level generator, the level section architecture, and some gameplay elements for populating the level sections with.
Here's an RTS I made in 2 weeks for the Rainbow Jam; FontWarz! it's the sequel to our previous years submission; STRONG NUMBAZ!
It borrows a lot from COC, FAF, and HOTS.
Arguably the best game I've made so far
At CoreGaming I'm an AudioCode, bringing their audio functionality into the modern age as a front-end js dev. My hybrid role also involves sound engineering; foley and digital SFX creation in logic. All the games are available on Sky Vegas.

Eateor (eat-iy-oare ;P Phonetics win):
Catch stuff:
A Procedurally generated 2.5D platformer where the main character, Merangutan (spelling intended), swings jumps and dashes his way through the jungle, trying to put an end to the torrent of spurious accusations made against him in the media.
Coding-wise, this time round as well as everything else, I've been making tools for our now larger team (3), so that they can help with level design and audio.
A mobile game where you zoom around space eating increasingly large celestial bodies, all the way to a star! It's got all the mobile game essentials; upgrades, cosmetics, achievements and juicy non-committal gameplay. Other than the coding I also did the music and lots of the meshing.

A re-imagining of one of my old classics, I call the style lava lamp games; kinda nice to watch the pseudo-random color onslaught. I did the lot on this one.

I managed to retrieve 8 of the games I made as a teenager, here's a playlist with some overviews of the more significant ones;

That's myself:
I made a whole heap of games in my teens, really chuffed I managed to retrieve some of them :). I put it down for a while in my twenties while I went up and down the country in a band living the rock and roll lifestyle. I also ran a business as a personal trainer for 4 years and started making games for fun again 5 years ago. When covid hit, my business couldn't survive so I decided to pursue coding games as a career alongside my friend of 20 years, who I made some of my first games with roughly that long ago :D.

Games are a constant in my life, they are, in my eyes, the ultimate art form; combining all disciplines, with a new emergent property arising from their amalgamation; a kind of personality, a feel, a flavour, the source of which is not easily defined, as it seems more than the sum of it's parts.

My explicit approach to creating games is parody, but don't let that fool you. Hidden within my projects is a desire to encourage mastery, instilling nuance into seemingly basic mechanics so a player might express themselves more fully when at the helm.

I'm gonna be making games either way, but I'd love to try it along side a larger team :)

Here are my Favourites:
Rayman1 ps1
Micro Machines V3 ps1
Spyro2
Crash team racing
Battle engine Aquila
Final fantasy 7
GTA 5
Minecraft
StarCraft (Narrative)
Breath of the wild
Supreme commander - forged alliance forever
Faster than light
Heroes of the storm

More things:
Music:
I often write the music for my games here's some of my tunes.
Trials tracks and mechanics:
I enjoyed trying to create extra mechanics for the trials games, here you can see I strapped some wings to the bike.

There is a little extra mechanic in this one, you can reverse to get a lil skull that orbits you and makes the bike more powerful. But I wanna show the level design more, I think it looks and plays ace :)
